I'm a little irritated by some things lately. Weather the issue is gay marriage or abortions, we are all entitled to our own opinions. STILL, with that said, I am accused of being arrogant, ignorant, and unequal. Now what the heck?!?!?

I understand people have their views on all these issues, but why is it that the people wanting us to have an open mind are the most arrogant people I've ever met!!!

It is so stupid and I'm tired of it! Why is it that some can be willing to listen and trying to understand and be attacked for it by others? This has nothing to do with religion, race or anything like that and I try not to bring that up in arguments. But because I'm not given a fair treatment, why should I listen anyway?

-I'm not arrogant! I can be, but I choose not to be.

-I'm not ignorant. Again, I could be, but I try to listen and understand, but sometimes an issue just doesn't work with me.

-I don't want unequal rights, but why should I have to change my views if I don't feel something is right?

This stamp is for anyone of any views and any sides. Take a moment and think. If you want someone to listen to your opinion, be fair and listen to theirs. Just because they don't agree, doesn't make them a bad person!!!!

I agree completely. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, and they shouldn't be harassed for it.

Well said. People should open their minds, but that doesn't mean they have to agree with the other sides. In my experience, people who accuse others of not having an open mind do it because the person they accuse doesn't agree with them. Kinda reverses the roles...

Besides, you can't be totally open minded to everything. You have to stand somewhere or else you'll go crazy trying to justify all of the other views. Believe me, it hurts your brain.

Exactly! And I don't accuse others of it either.

I believe if you want to have an adult discussion about something that is fine. But that's just it, BE ADULT!!!

Thank you! I know you are too! You're wonderful and though our view may differ sometime, we are able to have an adult conversation about it!

Which is the mature thing to do and what should happen more often.
